The National Federation Party says there is no justification to continue to put former Fiji residents, Professor Brij Lal and Dr Padma Lal in the ban list to enter Fiji and is appealing to the government to immediately rescind the ban on the two.

NFP Leader Biman Prasad is claiming that in a written reply to Professor Lal, an immigration officer had stated that their names are still appearing in their system.

They allegedly said that the instructions to put the names on the controversial list had been given by the Prime Minister’s Office.
