Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade, Co-operatives, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, and Communications, Manoa Kamikamica highlighted this during the relaunch of the Prestige and Pinktober Empowerment Session.
Kamikamica says the importance of education and early detection presents a critical opportunity to reflect on the importance of awareness, early detection and the support systems we can create together.
He says the government is committed to public health initiatives including implementing educational campaigns and health programs that inform citizens about breast cancer prevention.
The Deputy Prime Minister further says workshops and screenings is organized by healthcare providers, NGOs and community organizations that should encourage individuals to prioritize their health.
He adds the government is committed to foster a healthier society and enhancing overall well-being, encouraging collective action to uplift those affected by breast cancer.
