Refrees to clamp down on discipline at the Marist 7s

Players discipline will be a key area the Marist 7s organisers will closely monitor together with the referees. 

Marist Rugby Club President, Lawrence Tikaram says discipline is an issue not only faced in local tournaments but also internationally.

He says they will be working together with referees who will be handling this issue with seriousness adding they have had sessions with the referees as well.

The 44th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s kicks-off at 8 this morning with the Under-20’s and Women’s competition at the ANZ Stadium.

The Men's competition starts tomorrow. 

The quarter-final, semi-final and final of the Men's competition will be held on Saturday.
