Fiji-born winger, Sevu Reece will start on the wing for the Crusaders as they prepare for this weekend’s Super Rugby Pacific clash against the Highlanders.
Reece was named on the bench in their 42-32 win over the Hurricanes last weekend however, he looks set to bolster the back line as he attempts to open his try scoring account for the season.
Memories of last year’s shock 33-12 loss to the Highlanders will be at the forefront of their minds as they take the field in Dunedin.
Joe Moody, Brodie Mcalister and Oliver Jager lead the line for the record 10-time champions, while Sam Whitelock and skipper Scott Barrett start at locks.
Last week’s hat-trick hero, Leicester Fainga’anuku retains his spot on the wing with David Havili at inside centre. Will Jordan is again at fullback.
The Crusaders and Highlanders clash kicks off at 6.05pm on Friday at the Forsyth Barr Stadium.
In another match on Friday, the Waratahs will face the Reds at 8.45pm.
On Saturday, the Brumbies will play the Fijian Drua at 3.35pm, the Blues will take on the Hurricanes at 6.05pm while the Rebels will face the Force at 8.45pm.
