Fiji born Sevu Reece scored a try for the Crusaders as they defeated the Waratahs 54-28 in the Super Rugby Trans-Tasman this evening.
The New Zealand Super Rugby teams are now 12-0 against their Australian counterpart.
Other tries for the Crusaders came from Mitch Drummond, Cody Taylor, Dallas McLeod, Scott Barrett, Leicester Fainga'anuku, Bryn Hall and Will Jordan.
The Crusaders led the Waratahs 26-9 at the break.
The Waratahs got their rhythm back in the second half with three tries from Jack Maddocks, Izaia Parese, and Alex Newsome.
Crusaders David Havili and Nathan Vella received a yellow card each for indiscipline play, while Waratahs Jack Whetton also received a card for a professional foul.
In other matches, the Blues will face the Brumbies at 7.15 tonight, the Chiefs will take on the Reds at 9.45 tonight and the Highlanders will play the Rebels at 5pm tomorrow.
