Fiji-born All Blacks winger Sevu Reece scored two tries for the Crusaders this afternoon to help them thump the Reds 43-19 in their round 4 clash of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific.
Reece started on the wing and scored back-to-back tries in the first half of the match.
The other try scorers for the Crusaders are Cullen Grace, Christian Lio-Willie, Will Jordan, who scored two tries as well, and Levi Aumua.
The Crusaders scored 5 tries in the first spell to the Reds’ two tries as they led 29-14 at the break.
The home side further scored a further 2 tries in the second half while the Reds only managed to score 1 try.
Meanwhile, the Reds had the service of former Wallabies utility and Fiji-born winger Filipo Daugunu who started at outside centre today and also scored a try in the first half.
Despite the win, the Crusaders are still locked at the bottom of the ladder in the Super Rugby Pacific points table with 4 points.
The Crusaders will take on the Western Force at 3.35pm next Saturday in round 5 of the Super Rugby Pacific while the Reds will play the Waratahs at 8.35pm Saturday.
