Help continues to pour in for people affected by Tropical Cyclone Keni living in Kadavu.
Cyclone Keni battered villages on the island on Tuesday afternoon leaving plantations and homes damaged.
A team from Fiji Red Cross this morning left to assist people living in Kadavu that have been affected by the Cyclone.
Fiji Red Cross Society Operations Manager, Eseroma Ledua says they are now working together with the National Disaster Management Office to provide needed services in the affected areas.
Ledua says the team is taking with them food rations to affected villages and they will also distribute clothes.
A government vessel will also be leaving for Kadavu this Saturday with government officials to provide needed government services.
Fiji Red Cross has also sent its’ teams to areas in the country that were affected.
Villages in Kadavu that were affected by Cyclone Keni include, Tavuki, Kavala, Vunisea, Lavidi, Yaukuve and Dagai.
