A record year of visitor arrivals is expected again this year.
Fiji Hotels and Tourism Association President Dixon Seeto said the tourism industry is always learning and getting wiser.
Seeto said with Tourism Fiji's global marketing plan for this year, it will help increase visitor arrivals.
In the latest Fiji Bureau of Statistics on tourism accommodation, the third quarter for 2013 shows that room occupancy rates of 56.2 percent has been the highest for the past six years.
Room occupancy rates increased to 56.2 percent from 54 percent for the same period in 2012.
Meanwhile, paid employment in the hotel sector for the 2013 third quarter increased by 1.7 percent.
