The Republic of Fiji Military Forces will be seeking reconciliation and restoration with the Yasana o Macuata today.
According to the RFMF, the reconciliation and restoration process started yesterday with the RFMF Commander Ro Jone Kalouniwai meeting with former soldiers who were involved in the takeover of the Sukanaivalu VC Barracks in the upheavals during the 2000 coup.
They say the reconciliation and restoration program is focused on healing and rebuilding trust within the community by addressing past grievances and promoting unity.
Accompanying the Commander was the RFMF Chaplain Major (Rev) Viliame Tunidau.
The reconciliation and restoration program starts with a church service this morning.
