Ravula and Vocevoce named in Flying Fijians squad for upcoming tests, Nayacalevu to lead side

Swire Shipping Fijian Drua youngsters Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula and Mesake Vocevoce have been named in the Fiji Water Flying Fijians' 33-member squad for the upcoming June and July tests.

Newly appointed coach Mick Byrne has also named 16 other Fijian Drua players in the squad while France-based utility back Waisea Nayacalevu retains the captaincy.

Making their return to the squad are Caleb Muntz and Peceli Yato while young Racing 92 winger Inia Tabuavou and Elia Canakaivata will also be looking to make their international debut in the upcoming tests.

Some notable names that missed the cut include Josua Tuisova and Levani Botia.

The 33 member squad are Eroni Mawi, Peni Ravai, Meli Tuni, Mesake Doge, Luke Tagi, Haereiti Hetet, Sam Matavesi, Tevita Ikanivere, Zuriel Togiatama, Isoa Nasilasila, Mesake Vocevoce, Ratu Leone Rotuisolia, Temo Mayanavanua, Lekima Tagitagivalu, Kitione Salawa, Viliame Mata, Albert Tuisue, Elia Canakaivata, Peceli Yato, Frank Lomani, Simione Kuruvoli, Peni Matawalu, Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula, Caleb Muntz, Vilimoni Botitu, Inia Tabuavou, Iosefo Masi, Semi Radradra, Waisea Nayacalevu, Selestino Ravutaumada, Jiuta Wainiqolo, Sireli Maqala and Ilaisa Droasese.

The Flying Fijians’ first test will be against the Barbarians on the 22nd of this month in Twickenham. They will then be hosted by Georgia on the 5th of July before playing the All Blacks on the 20th of July in San Diego.
