Ratu Sukuna Day celebration to feature museum exhibits, art displays, public march, and meke performances

People have a lot of activities to chose from to celebrate Ratu Sukuna Day celebration today where the Fiji Museum including Ratu Sukuna medal and storyboard display will be open from 9 in the morning until 4.30pm.

The fee will be $5 for adults and $2 for children.

The Fiji Arts Council which is exhibiting indigenous art will be open from 9 until 4pm.

The living human treasure exhibition where people get to see how traditional art and craft are made will also be open until 4pm.

The public march is expected to start at 9 from the Flea Market to Albert Park.

At Albert Park, among other exciting entertainment, people will also get to see the meke performance that will be performed at the Festival of Pacific Arts in Hawaii next week.

iTaukei Lands and Fisheries Commission - Veitarogivanua, iTaukei Lands Trust Board, National Archives for Ratu Sukuna Exhibition, Fiji Revenue and Customs Services, Fiji Police Force and National Fire Authority will also have booths at the Park.
