Suspended Opposition MP Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu

Suspended Opposition MP Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu admitted last night that he did not deny making the comments in the SODELPA public meeting in Makoi last Thursday but he claims it was not directed towards the Speaker of the House.

While speaking in Parliament last night, Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu says some villagers always interact this way.

Ratu Naiqama says he was also advised to apologise to the Speaker.

Ratu Naiqama also spoke about empowerment of women and gender equality, and the i-Taukei culture.
