Commissioner Northern, Uraia Rainima says their distributions teams are now reaching out to those outside the most affected areas in Vanua Levu.

He says in the last two days throughout Christmas, their teams have been distributing ration supplies to the most affected areas in the red zone.

Rainima says what they want people to do is to reach out to their Advisory Councillors if they have not received any rations.

He says they want to make sure everyone has food.

Rainima says they are distributing close to 22,000 ration packs.

If you live in a TC Yasa affected area in the Northern Division and need ration packs delivered to you, the number to call is 8811005 or 0798513.

4,703 people are still staying in 107 evacuation centres in the Northern Division.
