The Los Angeles Rams will meet the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl 56 today.
The Bengals have never won the Super Bowl while the Rams won it in 1999 when the franchise was based in St Louis.
The winning team will get to lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
It is named after NFL coach Vince Lombardi, who led the Green Bay Packers to victories in the first two Super Bowls.
Super Bowl 56 takes place at the spectacular SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California - the home ground the Rams share with the Los Angeles Chargers.
SoFi Stadium opened in September 2020 at a cost of $US5.5billion and has a capacity of 70,240.
This year's half-time entertainment promises to be a stormer.
Rappers Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem and Kendrick Lamar will join forces with rhythm and blues singer Mary J Blige for a spectacular 12 minutes.
Super Bowl 56 kicks off at 11.30am.
