Preacher Vijen Sundar at the Ram Naumi

As thousands of Hindus around the country concluded Ram Naumi celebrations at midday today, a Ramayan Mandali from Suva is calling on everyone in Fiji to change the way they see others.

Like hundreds of Mandalis around the country, the Shri Ram Krishna Bhakti Ramayan Mandali concluded its prayers with devotees behind the Fiji Club in Suva today.

Preacher  Vijen Sundar says one of the messages that they have been imparting to the devotees is for them to respect everyone just how Lord Rama did.

Ram Naumi is one of the most important festivals in the Hindu calendar today.

The festival celebrates the birth of Lord Rama where Hindus worship, sing devotional songs and recite the Holy Ramayana.
