Ram Navami celebrations throughout Fiji have been held on a high scale this year which is a sure sign of the redemption of lost faith and confidence of our people.

Deputy Prime Minister and NFP Leader Professor Biman Prasad highlighted this in his Ram Navami message, who says Hindus around the world today mark the birth of Lord Ram, and the Indo-Fijian diaspora is no different.

He says for the time in their history, NFP will be completing 100 days of being in government and he is pleased to announce that they have achieved 14 of the 18 targets they had set to achieve in this period.

Prasad says their next mission is to successfully seek to achieve their first six month in office plan.

He adds despite struggling due to poverty for the last one and a half decade, it is pleasing to witness people congregating in every corner of Fiji to mark this occasion.

Prasad also says it is now the duty of the coalition government to accept and embrace the ideals and principles of goodness espoused during this Ram Navami festival to devise smart policies and strategies to improve the quality of life and standard of living of our people.
