Ram Lakhan Park will soon have a new volleyball court

People from Samabula, Nabua and nearby areas will soon benefit from a volleyball court at the Ram Lakhan Park.

The cost of the volleyball court is $46,810.05 which has been provided under the Construction Implementation Unit based at the Ministry of Economy.

While speaking at the ground breaking ceremony, Minister for Youth and Sports Parveen Bala says this new facility will help promote health and well-being of the community.

Bala says the facility is intended for sports like volleyball however, it can be used to generate income for the youth and community in hosting sporting events.

He further says the facility has been provisioned to expand as a full multi-purposes court and need be the ministry will cater for that.
