Bucalevu Secondary School Under-18 team

The Bucalevu Secondary School Under-18 team came in as underdogs and beat Lomary Secondary School 15-12 in the Weet-Bix Raluve competition quarter final today.

Both teams were locked at 5-all at half time.

Bucalevu Secondary Head Coach, Alipate Ravulo, says that winning against such a well-known school in the Raluve competition is a great achievement for them.

Ravulo says the players have utilised the Radradra gym well which boosted their fitness level and also made good use of other resources available at the school.

The head coach adds despite the expenses for the boat fare, the team remained focused and was able to showcase the rugby skills they have been taught over the past few weeks.

Meanwhile, in other Raluve U18 results, Natabua High School defeated Nasinu Secondary 41-0 and ACS beat Jasper Williams 34-24.
