The Niusawa Methodist High School U16 team from Taveuni are through to the Weet-Bix Raluve semi-finals after thrashing Naitasiri Secondary School 27-0 in their quarterfinal.
Niusawa Head Coach, Setareki Hawea says the girls have showcased the skills that they have been taught during their preparation over the last few weeks.
Hawea says this is history for them to reach the national quarter-final.
He says despite their lack of resources or gym equipment it did not deter the focus of the girls.
In other U16 results,Sigatoka Methodist High School thrashed Nasinu Secondary 33-0,and Adi Cakobau School beat Votualevu College 20-15.
