Swire Shipping Fijian Drua speedster Taniela Rakuro has been voted as the fijivillage Fan Player of the Match after Round 10 of Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific.
The 24-year-old was impressive in the Drua’s 24-17 win over Moana Pasifika last Saturday, where he scored two tries.
Rakuro ran 83 metres in the match and made six carries.
He also made two clean breaks and beat six defenders.
The two other nominees for the fijivillage Fan Player of the Match were centre Iosefo Masi and lock Kitione Salawa.
The Drua will meet the Brumbies at 9.35pm Saturday in round 11 of the Super Rugby Pacific competition.
In other Super Rugby Pacific round 11 matches this week, the Hurricanes will host the Waratahs at 7.05pm Friday, the Rebels will play the Blues at 9.35pm Friday, Moana Pasifika will take on the Highlanders at 2.05pm Saturday, the Crusaders will host the Reds at 4.35pm Saturday, and the Chiefs will take on the Force at 7.05pm Saturday.
