Rakiraki Town is flooded.
This has been confirmed by Divisional Planning Officer West Sitiveni Tavaga who says that this is due to the heavy rain which has been on going from last night.
Tavaga also confirms that the Naqoro flats are flooded and the roads from Qalau to FSC.
He says that people living in nearby areas can make their way to the Penang Sangam High School or the Rakiraki Muslim School as these are designated evacuation centres that are close by.
Meanwhile, Tavaga also confirms that the Nasivi river in Tavua is rising and if heavy rain continues, than it will burst its banks.
He adds that they are monitoring the situation however if you live in nearby areas, please take the necessary precautions and move to safe grounds.

Central division:
Access to thousands of people in Koronivia and Lokia has been cut off as flood waters have surrounded their homes.
Flood waters have also entered a number of houses.
Our reporter on the ground, Dhanjay Deo says people have been affected by flood waters since midday yesterday and the water is not receding.
Affected people are taking shelter at their neighbours and relatives places who are on higher grounds.
Lokia road in Nausori is closed to all traffic as it flooded.
Our reporter on the ground, Roneel Narayan says flood waters have entered some of the houses.
LDS Church in Lokia and Nakaikogo Primary School have been opened as evacuation centres.
Heavy goods vehicles can have access to a short cut which is from FNU Agricultural Farm to the FNU Koronivia Campus.
However, there is some water on this road.
Meanwhile, Cobbett Avenue Flat in Sawani is still flooded.
This has been confirmed by the Naitasiri District Advisory Councillor Mahendra Prasad Chaudhry.
In Nukutubu, Rewa - at least 3 families are now staying with relatives after flood waters entered the village last night.
A resident says flood waters only entered 3 of the houses that were located in the low lying areas.
Lal Singh Road in Waila, Nausori is closed to all traffic.
Flood waters entered some houses last night and some families have moved to high ground.
Roads Update:
Motorists are also advised that the road from Sawani to Nausori is now open.
This has been confirmed by the National Disaster Management Office.
Kings Road is open as Korovou Town and the Wailotua Flats are now open to motorists.
The Kasavu Landslide, located north of the Kasavu and Baulevu Road Junction on Kings Road is under 24 hour monitoring with traffic controllers onsite.
It is currently open to traffic and operating as a single lane with the potential for full closure if there are further slips.
The Queens road is open with single lanes in most places but it is all open to traffic.
Part of the Farm Road at 10 miles in Waidamudamu area that was washed away due to strong currents from flood waters is fixed and is now operational.
This was confirmed by the Fiji Roads Authority this morning.
Farm road resident Anishma Lal says it was very risky when that part of the road was washed away, but she thankful to the authorities.
3,090 families are still living in tents.
This has been revealed by DISMAC director, Akapusi Tuifagalele.
He says 223 families are living in tents in the Central Division, 224 families in the Eastern division, 158 families in the Northern division while 2,475 families are living in tents in the Western division.
