A former Revenue Collector for the Ministry of Justice in Savusavu has pleaded guilty to a count of general dishonesty and not guilty to a count of corrupt transactions with agents in the Savusavu Magistrates Court.
Tomasi Raikivi admitted to using receipts, revenue collectors cash analysis sheet and bank lodgements with false material to obtain $1,402.95 between June 2015 and September 2017.
Resident Magistrate Timoci Qalinauci provided Prosecution with time to file the agreed facts and agreed bundle of documents for the first count and to prepare the summary of facts for the second count.
The matter was adjourned to 24 February 2020.
