More people in flood affected areas in the Western Division will continue to receive food rations this morning from Radio Apna of New Zealand.

Radio Apna General Manager Mohammed Shaiyaz said they distributed more than 2,000 food packs to people of Ba, Nadi and Sigatoka yesterday and that they have managed to reach most of the affected people that have lost everything in the floods.

Radio Apna raised $212,000 through a radio appeal.

Meanwhile the Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama is calling on those people who have yet to receive assistance in the Western Division to contact the Commissioner Western’s office.

Commodore Bainimarama has raised concern that there might be those who have yet to receive relief support and assistance and that there are those who are not in the evacuation Centre and need immediate assistance.

Those in the Western Division can call DISMAC Western office on 6281553/6286553/6664946.
