South Africa and hosts India look almost certain to make the last four of the ICC Cricket World Cup, while New Zealand and Australia currently occupy the remaining qualification positions.
The defending champions England, know a late run of results could see them make it through instead.
Bangladesh are eliminated while the cup holders will need three wins from their remaining three matches to improve their run- rate to reach the semi-finals.
Afghanistan will need to win one of their final three games, but realistically may need two or three wins, with Australia and New Zealand likely to pick up points while Pakistan need at least one win from their final two games, but that requires Australia and New Zealand to lose all of their remaining matches.
The top seven will also qualify for the 2025 Champions Trophy alongside hosts Pakistan, though eighth place will be enough if Pakistan seal a top-seven finish.
