SODELPA leader Sitiveni Rabuka reminded the people of Tailevu and Rewa of the gifts that have been given to them by their ancestors and also to protect them.
While speaking in a campaign meeting at Nausori Village Hall last night, Rabuka said many people have always looked at his past which shows a very bad picture of him but he says that we are now moving forward.
Rabuka says that we cannot change the past but we can develop things that need to be developed for the betterment of the future.
He says they are here for the protection of the iTaukei people.
Rabuka says that SODELPA has views from liberals, socialists and nationalists.
Rabuka highlighted to the people that they should not give away something that has been given to them by their ancestors.
He has urged the people of Tailevu and Rewa who share the same interest as them to join their party in the upcoming election.
General Secretary of SODELPA Adi Litia Qionibaravi stated that the SODELPA candidates are here to campaign for the three R’s; retain, recapture and recruit.
She said they have to retain the voters that voted for them in the 2014 elections, recapture the votes of those that did support SODELPA and left due to their own reasons and recruit those voters that did not vote for them in the last elections.
