Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka is continuing his consultations on the appointment of the Attorney General before a public announcement is made.
Sources confirm Rabuka had a People’s Alliance Party meeting, and also had a meeting with the coalition government partners - National Federation Party Leader, Professor Biman Prasad and SODELPA Leader, Viliame Gavoka.
It has been stressed that whatever decision is made will be based on the rule of law and the constitutional principles and requirements.
fijivillage News understands that a person from outside parliament is being considered to be the next Attorney General, while Filimoni Vosarogo will take up the Minister for Justice portfolio and Siromi Turaga is likely to take up the Lands and Mineral Resources portfolio.
