Rabeni, Dewes dropped from RWC squad

Two of the key players that helped Fiji reach the quarter final of the Rugby World Cup in 2007, Graham Dewes and Seru Rabeni have been dropped from the Flying Fijians squad for this year's Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.

While announcing the team today, head-coach Samu Domoni Jnr says they have opted for a mixture of experienced and new players to be in the squad.

Also included in the squad is Army lock Leone Nakarawa and team manager, Talemo Waqa says they are working with the IRB to get Nakarawa across to the World Cup in NZ.

The Fiji squad for the World Cup : Campese Ma'afu, Sunia Koto, Deacon Manu, Ifereimi Rawaqa, Sekonaia Kalou, Dominiko Waqaniburotu, Leone Nakarawa, Akapusi Qera, Sisa Koyamaibole, Vitori Buatava, Seremaia Bai, Napolioni Nalaga, Ravai Fatiaki, Albert Vulivuli, Vereniki Goneva, Iliesa Keresoni, Setefano Somoca, Viliame Veikoso, Rupeni Nasiga, Sakiusa Masi, Nemia Kenatale, Kini Murimurivalu, Timoci Nagusa, Netani Talei, Wise Nailago, Adriu Delai, Nicky Little, Wame Lewaravu, Penijamini Makutu, Gabrielle Lovobalavu, Tuapati Talemaitoga, Ilikena Bolakoro, Malakai Ravulo, Wise Luveniyali and Wise Vatuvoka.

The two that will cover for injury are Asaeli Boko and Metuisela Talebula.

The team that will represent Fiji to meet the All Blacks next Friday will be named this saturday.
