RKS new Eastern Zone U16 champions after beating QVS 13-12

RKS was crowned champions after their U16 defeated QVS 13-12 in the Vodafone Eastern Zone Secondary Schools Rugby Competition at the HFC Bank Stadium.

RKS loose-man Jonetani Yasabalavu showcased his class by scoring their winning try to claim the title.

Jolame Bainivalu of RKS was named the best player of the match.

In the under 17 final, RKS is currently leading QVS 10-8.

The U19 final between RKS and Lelean will be held at 1.40pm, and the U18 playoff match between RKS and Tailevu North at 3.05pm.

In other results this morning, RKS defeated Lelean 15-12 in the U14 final, ACS beat Lelean 12-10 in the Raluve U16 final, ACS defeated Dawasamu 12-10 in the Raluve U18 final while RKS beat QVS 15-12 in the U15 final.

Entry fees are $12 for the Grandstand, $8 for the Concrete stand and $5 for the Embankment.
