RKS crowned U17 Eastern Zone champions

The Ratu Kadavulevu School rugby team continue to dominate the Vodafone Eastern Zone Secondary School Rugby Competition after winning their fourth title defeating QVS 23-11 in the U17 final.

Semi Bukarawa and Ropate Senisagali scored a try each for RKS.

Maika Ratuwere of QVS was awarded the best player of the match.

The U18 final between Lelean and QVS will be held at 4.25pm today, while the third place playoff match between RKS and Tailevu North is at 3.05pm.

Looking at the results, RKS defeated Lelean 15-12 in the U14 final, RKS beat QVS 15-12 in the U15 final and RKS edged QVS 13-12.

In the Raluve finals, ACS was crowned the U16 champion defeating Lelean 12-10, and the U18 ACS side beat Dawasamu Secondary 12-10.

Looking at the results of the third place play-offs, Tailevu North and QVS ended with a 12-all draw but the win was given to Tailevu North as they scored the first points.

Lelean was awarded a win after scoring the first point in the U15 playoffs.

Lelean thrashed Dawasamu 19-0 in the U16 playoff, and Lelean defeated St Vincent 21-5 in the U17 elimination.

The Eastern Zone Dean's final admission is $12 for the Grandstand, $8 for the Concrete stand and $5 for the Embankment.
