38 new jobs have been created as R.C. Manubhai and Company Limited opened its 11th branch in Nausori this morning.
The hardware company has invested about $2.8 million in this new double storey building in Nausori town.
Director, Ashok Patel says it has taken them almost eight years to open this state of the art facility.
Patel adds they are focusing on opening their branches throughout the country. He says they will soon open new branches in Labasa, Rakiraki and Tavua.
Meanwhile, Minister for Local Government and Housing Praveen Bala who officially opened the new R.C. Manubhai outlet says this investment shows the confidence of the business community in the country.
He says government has a lot of plans to further develop Nausori as the town’s growth has picked up significantly after the relocation of the Nausori market and the bus terminal.
