R.C Manubhai retains over 950 of their staff despite facing challenges brought in by COVID-19

Hardware company, R.C Manubhai says the impacts of COVID-19 has affected their turnover but they have not let go of people or reduced the pay of more than 950 workers.

The company has nine outlets throughout the country. They say they are even looking to hire more people so that they are able to provide better services to their customers and try to overcome the impacts of COVID-19.

Company’s Regional Manager, Shanil Patel says the pandemic has created fluctuations in their business and they have had to prepare and formulate strategies but the market has shown strong signs of improvement and they have adapted accordingly.

He says they are happy with the 2020-2021 National Budget and it is up to them to pass down the savings to their customers.

Patel adds this is how they are going to ensure that the economy keeps steady and starts growing again.

He adds it is up to businesses like them on how they prepare to help the consumers in order to grow the economy.
