NFA to investigate the cause of the fire

The National Fire Authority has confirmed that the major fire that occurred in one of the dormitories at Ratu Kadavulevu School in Lodoni has been contained and no one was injured.

However there has been significant damage at the Sukuna House dormitory.

The fire occurred just after midday yesterday and quick action from the Police and the NFA officers helped contain the fire and prevented any students or teachers from getting injured.

The Ministry of Education confirms that no one was in the building when the fire occurred, and all the students and staff are safe.

NFA is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
