Queen Elizabeth II sends best wishes to the people of Fiji

Queen Elizabeth II has sent her best wishes to the people of Fiji as we get ready to celebrate our independence day on Monday.

In a message sent to President, Jioji Konrote, Her Majesty The Queen says that it gives her great pleasure to send the President her congratulations on the celebration of Fiji’s National Day, together with her best wishes for the good fortune and happiness of the people of the Republic of Fiji in the coming year.

Fiji Day celebrations will be held in many parts of the country on Saturday.

Many schools and workplaces are also organizing special Fiji Day activities for tomorrow.

We encourage people to wear Fiji Blue tomorrow to celebrate Fiji Day.
