The National Director for People’s Community Network which was previously responsible for managing the $12.7 million government funded Lagilagi Housing Project in Jittu Estate in Suva has pleaded not guilty to a count of failure to furnish information.
Semiti Qalowasa allegedly failed to furnish full information, records and copies on 17th and 23rd January this year which was issued by way of Requisition of Information Notice by the Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission.
The Commission is investigating the People’s Community Network regarding the Lagilagi Housing Project.
It had come to the government’s attention that PCN does not have proper documentation on how the government funds were used.
The case has been adjourned to 12th September for Pre‑Trial Conference.
