People have commended the Fiji Police Force for the night operations being conducted in the capital city.
Police now have set up a tent next to the Suva City Library along Victoria Parade.
This was one of the hotspots where groups of youths used to gather and attack and rob people walking along Victoria Parade.
People say it is heartening to see Police Officers in numbers during the night operation.
Police have confirmed that they will continue to carry out the operation to ensure people are safe.
They have also advised people to drink responsibly as some people are involved in opportunistic crimes.
