Jope Saunitakali was over the moon after witnessing his son, Joseva Ravuaka of Vunisea Secondary School win gold in the Sub-Junior Boys 800 metres at the Coca-Cola Games today.
He says as parents, they were only focused on Ravuaka’s education but when he got selected in the athletics squad, they thanked God that there is one in the family that has the talent to run in the Coca-Cola Games.
Saunitakali says he is proud of his son’s achievement.
Serupepeli Naidegidegi of DAV Ba won the silver in the Sub-Junior Boys 800 metres while Iosefo Tuvere of Namosi Secondary settled for bronze.
