Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama lodged his application to register the proposed Fiji First Party in the last hour.
Bainimarama submitted the 40,083 signatures and paid the registration fees of $5,005 to the Supervisor of Elections and Registrar of Political Parties Mohammed Saneem.
Doctor Jiko Luveni is the President of the proposed Fiji First Party.
Tui Macuata Ratu Wiliame Katonivere and former Fiji Labour Party senator Bijai Prasad are the two Vice Presidents while Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum is the General Secretary.
Bainimarama is the leader of the proposed Fiji First Party.
