Proposed All People’s Party submits application for registration

The Proposed All People’s Party has submitted an application to the Fijian Elections Office for registration.

In accordance with the Political Parties (Registration, Conduct, Funding & Disclosures) Act, the Registrar, Mohammed Saneem will now process the application.

Saneem had earlier received the party’s application on 10th June 2022, which was later rejected. In his assessment of the application, he found that the party failed to meet the minimum required members for Northern, Western and Central Divisions in accordance to Section 10 (2) of the Political Parties (Registration, Conduct, Funding and Disclosures) Act.
