About 38 volunteers of an international non-governmental organization Projects Abroad are repainting part of Lautoka Hospital.
Country Director Zarina Begum Reece said their volunteers who come from all corners of the globe are painting the waiting room of the Dental Clinic and the Children’s ward’s “Mother Room” with brightly colored arts and craft with the hope of spreading laughter and smiles to the children of the hospital.
She said they approached the Lautoka Hospital and they were informed about this need which they hope to fulfill this afternoon.
She added the organization is extremely honored to be able to give back to such a worthwhile cause and will spend valuable time with the patients in the pediatric ward.
