Fiji Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Services has recognised a program to introduce traditional and herbal medicines to improve medical services in Fiji.

Chief Pharmacist Apolosi Vosanibola says that they are working with the World Health Organisation to look into the products and its practices before making any decision.

He says they are focusing to strengthen this program in the country.

Vosanibola also acknowledged the new legislation which also recognises traditional medicines through the national medicines products policy.
