Prisons Commissioner labels alleged beating as inhumane
The Fiji Corrections Services has labeled the alleged beating of a nightclub manager by five prison officers as unacceptable and serious in nature.

Commissioner, Lieutenant Colonel Iferemi Vasu said they have handed the five officers to police and they remain in custody.

The Fiji Corrections Services has also started its internal board of inquiry apart from the police investigation.
