While most children will be spending Christmas with their families, there are those unfortunate ones who will be spending it without their father or mother because they are in prison.
In an effort to bring joy to some 600 children, the Prison Fellowship Family Ministry is collecting gifts and donation.
Since its inception in 1982, the Fiji Prisons Mission Fellowship has put a smile on thousands of inmates’ children during the festive season.
Every year, the fellowship through its national appeal campaign is able to donate gifts to inmates’ children.
The fellowship was able to help 600 families last year.
The Fellowship says in many situations inmates’ children do not have the pleasure of celebrating Christmas with their parents and a small gift this Sunday would go a long way.
Donations can be dropped off at Epworth House in Suva.
