The Leader of the National Federation Party, Professor Biman Prasad

The Leader of the National Federation Party, Professor Biman Prasad says the government is saying that the theme of the Budget is “All Families Matter” which he calls “Fear, Free-bees and Failures”.

Professor Prasad also says that the Prime Minister’s budget speech could have had better things written in it.

He says 12 years is a very long time for a government to be in power, and like all governments that have held on for too long, this government has become dictatorial, arrogant and out of touch.

The NFP leader says this budget is not about Fijian families but about political propaganda as there are now plans to build a $8 million PM’s Office. He says of course Fijian families matter and they have always mattered.

Prasad says with the elections coming, the government has decided to take some of NFP’s ideas.
