Get ready to pay even more for fuel from Monday as the price of unleaded fuel, diesel, kerosene and pre-mix will go up significantly while it remains unchanged for gas.
The price of unleaded fuel goes up by 23 cents and will now cost $3.67 per litre, diesel goes up by 47 cents to $3.61 per litre, kerosene goes up by 39 cents to $2.89 per litre while premix goes up by 23 cents and will cost $3.47 per litre.
The Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission says the changes in August local fuel prices are due to unfavourable movements in international market prices and freight rates for unleaded fuel, premix, diesel and kerosene.
FCCC says August 2022 local fuel prices are further impacted by the strengthening of the US Dollar against the Fijian dollar on all refined fuel products based on June 2022 imports.
