President receives farewell from the Commonwealth participants

President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere receives the iTatau or farewell from Team Fiji for the 2023 Commonwealth Youth Games, at the State House this morning.

Ratu Katonivere says he is proud of the players and seeing the youths assures him that Fiji has a great future which will bring pride and glory to nation and the people.

The President urges the team to proceed with confidence as they represent the nation with their talent to show the world the outcomes of their hard work and training.

The 2023 Commonwealth Youth Games will be held in Trinidad and Tobago from the 4th of August to 11th of August.
