President Konrote assures Flying Fijians that the country is behind them for Rugby World Cup

President Jioji Konrote says the people of Fiji are behind the Flying Fijians in this Rugby World Cup, and what they did last Saturday, proves that they can match any team in the tournament.

He says the players should show humility in victory and accept defeat graciously.

Konrote also reminded the players that while they will be in Japan they are Ambassadors of Fiji to the world.

The Flying Fijians presented their itatau to the President at  State House today and leave for the Rugby World Cup this Friday.

Fiji is pooled with Australia, Wales, Georgia and Uruguay.

Fiji will take on the Wallabies in the first pool match on the 21st of this month at 4.45pm.
