Preparations underway for chiefly funeral

Preparations are now underway for the funeral of the Paramount Chief, Na Momo Na Tui Ba Ratu Sairusi Nagagavoka who passed away last week.

Mata Ni Tikina o Bulu Samuela Kautoga last night said that Ratu Sairusi Nagagavoka passed away at his chiefly residence of SueLevu-I-Ba on Tuesday.

Kautoga said the Tokatoka Sauturaga will now coordinate the chiefly funeral and will work along with the six villages of the Tikina of Bulu including Sorokoba.

Kautoga added that the passing away of the Momo Na Tui Ba has been relayed to the different chiefs within the Ba Province and an official message has been given to government.
 
The “Reguregu” will start today with Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama and the government delegation expected to present their reguregu on Thursday morning.

The Momo Na Tui Ba, the Late Ratu Sairusi Nagagavoka, is survived by his wife and nine children.

The Late Momo Na Tui Ba will be laid to rest in the Sau Tabu I Namacuku this Thursday.
