Preparations for the 2016 Telecom Miss Fiji Pageant has begun.
Chairman of the Miss Fiji Pageant Association Hirdesh Prasad says the pageant will be held at Lawaqa Park from the 5th to the 12th of November.
Prasad says preparations are going well and they are working on the logistics at the moment.
He says the winner of the Miss Fiji Pageant will represent Fiji in the Miss Pacific Islands Pageant which will be held in Samoa later this year.
Meanwhile Vodafone Miss Hibiscus 2016 Anne Dunn says she is excited to meet all the other contestants from the different municipalities.
Dunn says it will be a fantastic experience as all the contestants for the Miss Fiji Pageant have gone through almost the same experience.
Dunn will carry forth her advocacy on gender equality in the Miss Fiji Pageant.
