As Pre polling begins today at 138 venues around the country, the Fijian Elections Office has confirmed that as their teams begin deployment to designated venues, a team that was enroute to Udu Point in Vanua Levu was met with an accident.

Speaking at a Press conference, Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem says that none of the team members were seriously injured

Meanwhile,  Saneem also stated that 23 pre polling venues are in the Central Division, 49 in the Eastern Division, 28 in the Northen Divisiona and 38 in the Western Division.

He says that a total of 15,609 are scheduled to be voting today in 138 venues.

Saneem also confirmed that in the Central Division 3,013 voter are scheduled to vote, 4,081 in the Western Division, 3,055 in the Northen and 5,460 in the Eastern Division.
