Portugal has been confirmed to be the fifth team to join Pool C along the Flying Fijians, Australia, Wales and Georgia in the Rugby World Cup 2023 in France.
Portugal became the 20th team to qualify for the World Cup as they secured a 16-16 draw in a nail-biting deciding match of the Final Qualification Tournament against USA.
The Os Lobos only needed a draw to advance to a second Rugby World Cup, thanks to their superior points difference, and Samuel Marques secured it with the last kick of the match.
The Rugby World Cup 2023 will be held from September 9 to October 29 next year.
